A Message from Elizabeth
"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we are all baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free--and we are all given the one Spirit to drink."
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
At JJ White we believe it is our calling as Christians united in the one body of Christ to build each other up, sharing each others burdens and joys. I pray that JJ White is a place where any and all are welcomed, where we encourage others to hope and pray continually as we await the coming of Jesus Christ in glory. I pray that JJ White is also a place where kindness and compassion are present for every person experiencing sorrow or pain. As the apostle Paul said in his letter to the church at Corinth, we are all one body untied under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and that's what we strive to be here at JJ White. It is our hope that all who come through these doors will feel the loving presence of our God, embodied by our community of faith. We are called to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all people we come across, encouraging their faith and helping each other to lead lives of discipleship and truth.
